What is SEL?
According to the Collaborative for Academic and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process through which all young people and adults acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions.

Our Curriculum
T.E.A.C.H course curriculum is a collaborative collection of lesson plans designed to help make your kids proficient in Social & Emotional Learning. Each lesson is designed by professional educators and aligns with most statewide SEL standards. All lessons come with activity sheets, and supplemental media carefully curated to achieve an effective day of learning.

A - Awareness: Building self-awareness and awareness of others, promoting emotional intelligence.

Our Story
"My little boys are super rambunctious and getting them to go with the program can be difficult to say the least! One day, frustrated with repeating myself, I began singing and rapping my instructions to them. The kids gleefully cooperated and began to sing along.
I discovered that words with rhythm and melody engaged them and facilitated cooperation in a unique and effective way.
I began playfully writing and recording quick and easy to remember songs that would help highlight social lessons or celebrate achievements. Since I can't stand to listen to conventional children's music, and I didn't find my adult music selections to be kid appropriate, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to merge the best of both worlds. I would use my experience as a music producer to create kids music that grown-ups like.
It soon dawned on me that Im not alone and other parents must go thru the same thing, so I wanted to share my new found magic. This is how Tots Mots was born. Yep "Tots Mots"! It's short for Toddler Motivation.

All those fun recordings for Aaron and Jay became the foundation for a new children's music series that I designed for kids aged 3- 9 to develop social skills, build self esteem, and celebrate achievements. It's not the boring children's songs you're probably used to either. It's kids music that grown-ups can genuinely jam out to.
I also came up with some anthropomorphic characters (animals with humanlike characteristics) to help promote the songs and be the mascots for this new movement. Safari animals seemed fitting, since thanks to my boys, my house can sometimes look like a jungle for wild animals! Meet Young Rizz the Rhino, Layla P. Leopard, and DJ Raffe the Giraffe.
Me and a team of amazing songwriters, authors, coders, and education professionals eventually created totsmots.com - a really cool learning platform that uses music, stories, games and other activities to teach kiddos how to be great people.
