Lesson Theme: Counting Money Duration: 1 Hour Target Age Group: Pre-K (3-5 years old) SEL Focus: Self-awareness, responsible decision-making, and cooperation. Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will: Identify different coins (penny, nickel, dime, and quarter). Practice counting coins up to 10. Work together as a team during group activities. Develop self-awareness and responsible decision-making while engaging in learning tasks. SEL Goals: Self-Awareness: Children will recognize their feelings and interests in the topic, building confidence in counting money. Responsible Decision-Making: Children will make responsible choices during group activities and games, practicing how to share and cooperate. Social Awareness: Students will understand the value of teamwork and empathy when working together to complete the group activity.
